SHADOW – he quietly sits through the yoga classes – mindful that it is a time to rest and definitely restore…’dead dog pose’ time. Occasionally he raises an eyebrow, always aware and thoroughly “in the moment”. As the singing bowl announces that it’s time to stretch at the end of relaxation (savasana) – he’ll gently stretch too.
ANNIE founder of Whispered Secrets, trained at the London College of Dance & Drama and with a strong background in the fitness industry, as well as, an experienced remedial massage therapist, reiki and energy healer. Weekly yoga classes provided the meditation, stillness and energy needed to get through a hectic London lifestyle. Yoga became a passion and Annie trained in the Satyananda Tradition of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga and Yin Yoga. Annie brings a lot of elements into a yoga class – her warmth and energy will have you feeling like a regular student in no time.
Sarah Dunning is a 300 hour certified yoga teacher who adores lighting all the candles at Whispered Secrets and settling in for gentle stretch classes. A New Zealand native, she recently returned from 13.5 years in the USA where she taught yoga, wellness workshops, and learnt a bunch about the daily grind as well as the need for a daily unwind.
She studied with with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee, NY, USA for her advanced 100 hour yoga teacher training. Her original 200 hour training was completed with the delightful Shannon Ball and Anne Ethier at the Athens Yoga Institute, GA, USA.
Sarah teaches the 6 week Beginners Course which runs each term.
